Accessorize Electric Purple+ a comparison (with Gina Tricot #48 "Diva" and GOSH #001 "Lavender Love")+ Accessorize Crystal Shimmer
I had planned to show you "Electric Purple, shade 26" with "Crystal Shimmer, shade 33", both from Accessorize. But when I came home after I had bought Electric Purple (to see the whole haul, click here), I saw that it was very similar to Gina Tricot #48 "Diva". At first I was sad, and felt like I had thrown away my money. But it was not expensive... Neither of them... And then I decided to make a comparison post instead, and added the a little more pastel GOSH #001 "Lavender Love". But still, I wanted to see what the iridescent glitter would look like over this kind of blue- purple.
So I will first show you Electric Purple on its own, then compare it with the two other blue- purple I have, and after that You can see Crystal Shimmer on top of the comparison hand.

Accessorize: Pink Spice
This is Accessorize "Pink Spice", shade 35. It is a dark pink with a little terracotta/ orange in it. It did not have as much color shift as I had expected. Again, the camera shows more color shift than can be seen in real life.

Today I will show you Urban Spirit by H&M. You might have seen it earlier in my skittles post. To see it, click here.
H&M: Urban Spirit
The color of Urban Spirit is somewhere between lavender, grey, and blue. On my screen the color is more blue than in real life. My camera doesn't show shades of purple as well as it should. In the skittles post, I have captured the more lavender- grey color, and how it sparkles in the sun. It is sparkly, but not a glitter. It is more like a foil.

After the post about Sweet Dreams, what could be better than a Dream- post?
Accessorize "Dream":Dream is a blue small sized glitter with medium sized purple glitter, in a clear base. The glitter is dense. It seems like the glitter is put in as little base as possible. On these photos I used two super thick coats, but the glitter kind of dried as I put it on, so to get enough polish for each coat I had to dip the brush twice. The formula of "Dream" is very similar to the formula of "Magic". But Magic is purple with pink, instead of blue with purple.

Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams
Earlier this spring, I was lucky and got a chance to try Sweet Dreams on twice. I tried to tell myself that I did not need it. But I could not forget it, so I bought it. And today I will show you some nailphotos of Deborah Lippmann Sweet Dreams as a full manicure.

Today we will go straight to the end of the "playing with layering"- phase of wearing Accessorize Aztec. If you have seen my post where I layered it over green, you are probably ready to see something strange. (To see that, click here.)
I must admit that the color of Aztec was so strange, that I decided to take it off the same evening that I put it on. But first I just had to try a flakie on top of it, and my new holographic glitter, and then I mattified it. After trying again and again and again to capture the purple in Aztec by itself, I suddenly realized that it became a bit easier to see the purple on my photos for each extra coat. Even the first layer of regular top coat helped. The strange thing was that the camera showed very little purple, but exaggerated the multi chrome effect. (Yes, I know I need to learn photoshop, and learn to use the other camera...) So I have a huge amount of photos of Aztec that I do not know if I will show. These photos should also have had a little purple in them. Aztec is a dark green- purple duochrome. It is the color I could imagine as a result of pouring Zoya Jem into a bottle of green foil or something.

GOSH #610 Blissful
On these nailphotos you can see what one coat of Blissful looks like. One coat, no clean up, no top coat. But as usual I used a base coat (from GOSH).
GOSH #610 Blissful
These photos are either too pink and bright or too red and dark. I think this one is the most color accurate:

GOSH #611 Raw Rose+ Nfu- Oh #49
Here is where last post continues. When I came home with GOSH #611 Raw Rose, the first thing I thought was that it was perfect for Nfu- Oh #49. Then, when I saw the bottles together, they were not so similar after all. But I really like them together. I think this is a very cute manicure. To go to my last post, about Raw Rose, click here.
GOSH #611 Raw Rose+ Nfu- Oh #49
This is two coats of GOSH Raw Rose, with GOSH base-/ top coat, and Nfu- Oh #49 layered over it.

Today I want to show you Raw Rose by GOSH. Raw Rose is one of the three nail lacquers from their 2012 spring collection, together with Drizzle (dusty mint green) and Blissful (red). There is a photo of the three nail polishes in my first Weekend Haul post.
GOSH Raw Rose
The color of Raw Rose is a kind of pink that looks like it has been mixed with beige or grey. In my opinion it is work appropriate, and a color people of all ages can feel comfortable wearing. Sometimes it leans to brown, and sometimes to pink. The formula is a little on the thick side, (like all my creams from GOSH), and easy to apply. I used two coats. My base-/ top coat is also from GOSH.
To show the color, I put it next to: a flower, other nail polishes (brown, pink, red) , rose quartz, green leafs, terracotta, and a fabric that looks similar to Drizzle's color.

Bottle: RBL: Scrangie. I am wearing: DL: Love is A Battlefield
Today I want to show you the new nail polishes I have bought lately. This weekend I got three (Deborah Lippmann), and before that I got one (Resue Beauty Lounge), and before that I bought seven (Accessorize). They are not all new, but they are new to me. And I hope you are not sick and tired of them yet.

TL Design #96 Bombay
Today I want to show you TL Design #96 Bombay. First nailphotos of it on its own, and later with Accessorize Aztec on one accent nail, and then with OPI Fresh Frog of Bel Air layered over Bombay. And finally some other layering options on my nail wheels.
TL Design Bombay:
Today I will show you photos of how I layered other nail polishes on top of GOSH Drizzle, when I tested out what would look nice together with this dusty green. When I started thinking about which effects I wanted to combine with Drizzle, I remembered the gold I had seen in Zoya Yara. So I chose a gold glitter, but I also wanted to see how other glitters would look, and different flakies, holo, and some other polishes.
A little layering experiment.
I am wearing base coat and two coats of GOSH 609 DRIZZLE, no top coat. You will see nailphotos of 10 different nail polishes on top of that, then with one more coat on some nails and top coat, then with mat top coat, and in the end as I liked it best, with some mat and some shiny nails.
One coat of each, from left/ pinkie to right/ thumb:
Deborah Lippmann: Boom Boom Pow (small and large hexagonal gold glitter)
H&M: Metallic Blue (micro teal glitter/ shimmer)
Glitter Gal: 707H silver 3D/ Holo (silver holographic)
Skinfood Party Tox Nail: #8 (white/ pastel teal glitter)
Orly Rock Candy (pastel teal)
One coat, left/ pinkie to right/ thumb:
NUBAR: 2010 (flakie: orange- green)
Finger Paints: Twisted (flakie: orange- green- blue- red)
Nfu- Oh #54 (flakie: green- teal- light blue)
Nfu- Oh #56 (green jelly with green micro glitter and green flakies)
OPI: Fresh Frog of Bel Air (small green glitter and big silver hexagonal glitter)
As usual, I used GOSH base/ top coat.
